What we're building
A platform for multiplayer interaction in physical space.
ReadySet combines gameplay with real-world interaction. We power team-building events, brand activations, exploration games, and live experiences that turn any space into a stage.
Under the hood we're building the systems that coordinate hundreds of players, dozens of locations, and live scoring — with the simplicity of a mobile app.
Where we're going: AI-assisted experience creation, scalable multiplayer infrastructure, and tools that let any organizer design something extraordinary in an afternoon.
The opportunity
Why join ReadySet now?
We're at the moment where the product, the category, and the team are still being shaped. Joining now means helping define all three.
Early-stage ownership
Shape the product, the playbook, and the company. Your fingerprints stay on everything you ship.
Multiplayer systems
Design and build systems that coordinate hundreds of players moving through real spaces in real time.
Real-world gameplay
Your work runs on city blocks, festival grounds, campuses, and hotels — not just on a screen.
Creative influence
Help define a new category of interactive experience. There is no playbook yet — we're writing it.
Product impact
Small team, large surface area. Every contribution moves a metric, a customer, or a launch.
Experimentation
Prototype quickly. Test in the field. Some of our best features came from a hunch tested on a Saturday.
Global activations
Our experiences run in cities around the world. Travel, observe, and learn from how players actually play.
AI-assisted creation
Build the systems that let anyone design and operate a great multiplayer experience — with AI as a copilot.
How we work
A small team operating at the intersection of product, play, and the real world.
Collaboration
We design, build, and ship as one team. Engineering, product, and operations sit at the same table.
Creativity
Taste matters. We sweat the visual, the wording, and the feel of every interaction.
Iteration
Launch early, observe live games, learn fast. Real players are our best PMs.
Ownership
Pick up the thing that needs picking up. Finish what you start. No 'someone else's problem' here.
Experimentation
We give weird ideas a chance. Some of them become the next product line.
Product thinking
Everyone is responsible for the experience — not just the surface area of their job description.
Inside the team
What it actually feels like to work here.
Field days, whiteboards, late-night ship calls, and the slow craft of building a category. A few frames from the last few months.

Value
Player-first
Every decision is judged at the moment of play.
Value
Ship to learn
Real events teach us things slides never will.
Value
High agency
Small team, big surface area — pick up what needs picking up.
Value
Taste matters
Polish is not a phase. It's how we work.
"I shipped to a live event in my second week. Watching 200 people play something I built was unreal."
"There's no 'someone else's problem' here. You see a thing, you pick it up, you ship it."
"Taste is treated like a real engineering input. We argue about microcopy and easing curves with the same energy as architecture."
Open roles
Now hiring
We hire deliberately. When we open a role, it matters. Tap any role to expand the full brief.
Founder-adjacent commercial role. Own pipeline, partnerships, pricing experiments, and the operating cadence that turns inbound interest into repeatable revenue.
About ReadySet
ReadySet powers real-world multiplayer experiences for teams, agencies, brands, conferences, museums, and cities. We turn physical spaces into interactive playfields — and we're building the platform that lets anyone design and operate them.
The Role
We're hiring a Commercial Operator to help turn early momentum into a scalable business. This is not a 'sales rep' seat — it's a founder-adjacent role for someone who treats revenue as a product they own end-to-end.
You'll work directly with the founders on pipeline, partnerships, pricing, and the operating cadence behind it all.
What You'll Do
- Own the commercial pipeline — qualify, run, and close conversations with agencies, brands, and event organizers.
- Build the playbook: discovery, demos, pricing, proposals, follow-up — version it as you learn.
- Partner with the founders on segmentation, positioning, and the next set of categories to lean into.
- Run pricing and packaging experiments and bring real data back to the product team.
- Build and maintain the CRM, dashboards, and operating cadence the team runs on.
- Develop strategic partnerships with agencies and platforms that multiply our reach.
Additional Impact Areas
- Shape go-to-market motion across self-serve, mid-market, and enterprise.
- Stand up lightweight marketing experiments alongside sales — content, outbound, events.
- Feed structured customer insight back into the roadmap.
- Help hire the next commercial hires as the function scales.
What Success Looks Like (3–6 months)
- Pipeline is predictable enough to forecast a quarter ahead.
- Discovery → close is a documented, repeatable motion — not tribal knowledge.
- Pricing and packaging are tested against real deals, not assumptions.
- At least one strategic partnership is live and producing pipeline.
- Founders spend less time in the deal flow and more time on product.
Who This Is For
- You've operated commercially at an early-stage startup and liked it.
- You treat revenue as a system to build, not a number to chase.
- You're equally comfortable in a sales call, a spreadsheet, and a strategy doc.
- You move fast, write clearly, and don't need a manager to unblock you.
- You want ownership over a function, not a quota inside someone else's.
What We're NOT Looking For
- A traditional enterprise AE waiting for inbound leads.
- A pure BDR who only does the top of funnel.
- Someone who needs a fully built playbook on day one.
- Someone who wants to manage a team before building the motion themselves.
Background
Most people who fit this role have 3–8 years of commercial experience at startups or high-velocity software companies — often spanning sales, partnerships, BD, or revenue operations. Domain experience in events, agencies, gaming, or experiential is a strong plus but not required.
Growth & Ownership
This role can grow into leading commercial, GTM, or revenue at ReadySet as the team expands. The ceiling is set by what you build, not by a ladder we hand you.
Compensation
Competitive base, performance upside, and meaningful equity. We pay for ownership and outcomes, not face-time.
