The Brief

More than a values deck.

Trailmix Games — the mobile studio behind titles like Love & Pies — wanted more than an internal presentation when introducing a new set of company values. They wanted something interactive. Something social. Something their teams would actually remember.

Working with ReadySet, Trailmix transformed their company values into a branded multiplayer experience spanning both London and Berlin — combining real-world exploration, collaborative gameplay, and company culture into one shared event.

The Challenge

Making company values feel lived-in.

Trailmix wanted their newly introduced values to feel collaborative, memorable, social, and human — not like slides, workshops, or internal documents. The complication: they operate across multiple cities and teams, and needed one shared culture moment that landed everywhere at once.

  • Collaborative, not instructional

Values needed to be experienced together, not delivered at people from a stage.

  • Memorable in the body

Movement, surprise, and discovery — the kind of moments that stick weeks later.

  • One shared event, two cities

London and Berlin had to feel like the same experience, not two parallel office activities.

  • Human, not corporate

Tone, branding, and gameplay had to feel like Trailmix — playful, warm, creative.

One experience, two cities

One multiplayer world across London and Berlin.

Rather than running separate local activities, ReadySet let Trailmix create one connected multiplayer experience across both cities. Same gameplay structure, same branded world, same shared event — even though employees were standing on different streets.

The Gameplay

How gameplay worked.

Participants moved between real-world checkpoints spread throughout their city. Each location unlocked custom challenges tied to Trailmix's new company values — transforming the rollout into something interactive instead of instructional.

Trailmix Values Hunt — branded event card with meet-up spot, themed map screen, and an in-app live timer with score and checkpoint count.

Checkpoints

The city became the board.

Real-world locations mapped into a branded Trailmix Values Hunt — discoverable on a themed map, unlocked through movement.

Missions

Each value, a challenge.

Creative prompts, collaborative tasks, and themed activities tied directly to the studio's new values — playable, not preached.

Live event UI

Score, time, progress — together.

Live timer, points, and checkpoint progress kept teams moving, comparing, and regrouping throughout the session.

A Branded World

Built around the Trailmix universe.

Rather than feeling like a generic scavenger hunt-style experience, the experience was deeply connected to Trailmix's creative identity — artwork, characters, tone, and gameplay styling extended directly into the multiplayer experience.

Choose your style · 6 character set

Six Trailmix character selection screens — a varied cast of players against colorful brand backgrounds, each ready to be picked from the in-app carousel.

A cast of pickable characters carried the studio's identity from the first tap. The result felt less like an external tool and more like an extension of the Trailmix world itself.

Operational Simplicity

Fast deployment without building a custom app.

For temporary activations and one-time internal experiences, building a standalone app often creates unnecessary complexity. ReadySet let Trailmix launch a fully branded multiplayer experience without commissioning or maintaining custom event technology from scratch.

A branded layer, not a new app

Skip the 6-month app build. ReadySet provides the engine; your activation provides the world.

Deployable at venue scale

Thousands of concurrent participants, multi-zone maps, and ops dashboards built for live event teams.

Customizable end-to-end

Theme, missions, checkpoints, leaderboards — every layer is yours to brand and reshape per activation.

Human Moments

Connection through gameplay.

The experience created moments to collaborate with colleagues people rarely interact with day-to-day — exploring together, competing casually, sharing discoveries, and talking about the company's values naturally, as they played.

  • Comparing scores between checkpoints, planning the next move together.
  • Splitting up to cover ground — regrouping with a story to tell.
  • Cross-team conversations sparked by a value, not a slide.
Branded Trailmix Values Hunt screens layered over the studio's playful 3D world art.

ReadySet helped us bring our values to life in a way slides never could. Our London and Berlin teams shared one experience — and they're still talking about it.

What this proved

Culture, made playable.

  • Interactive by default

Company culture can become something teams play through, not something delivered at them.

  • Multiplayer participation

Branded multiplayer gameplay drives stronger participation than static presentations.

  • Distributed, but together

Teams in different cities shared one event — same world, same gameplay, same culture moment.

  • Brand-native

Trailmix's identity flowed end-to-end — the activation read as part of the studio, not bolted on.

  • No standalone app

A fully branded experience deployed without building or maintaining custom event tech.

  • ReadySet 3D logo

Why it landed

What this experience showed.

The wins weren't on a scoreboard — they were in the texture of the day, and in how cleanly the format scales to the next culture moment.

  • Brand-native experience

Trailmix's world extended into every screen — splash, map, characters, missions.

  • Distributed, shared

London and Berlin played the same event — connection without colocation.

  • Values made playable

Each value became a mission, a discovery, a moment teams remember.

  • Operationally light

Branded, deployed, and run — without a custom app, and without slowing the studio down.
