The five steps
Download the ReadySet app
Available on the App Store and Google Play. Install it on the phone you'll be playing with.
Open the app
Launch ReadySet. There is no sign-up screen — you go straight to the join flow.
Enter the event code
Your organizer will share a short code before the event. Type it in to load the experience.
Choose a team and name
Pick the team your organizer assigned you to, then enter the name you want to play under.
Start playing
You'll see the map, your challenges, and the live leaderboard. From here, it's all gameplay.
A few things worth knowing
- No account required — you don't create a login, set a password, or verify an email.
- The app is required — gameplay happens inside the ReadySet app, not in a browser.
- Location permissions may be requested for map-based experiences.
- Your organizer provides the event code — it isn't public or searchable.
Troubleshooting
- Invalid code — double-check with your organizer; codes are case-sensitive and event-specific.
- GPS disabled — enable location services for the ReadySet app in your phone settings.
- Outdated app — update ReadySet in the App Store or Google Play and try joining again.
- Weak connection — move to better signal or switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
