How ReadySet Works

The full flow — from the moment an organizer opens Studio to the final leaderboard. Six clear steps, no jargon.

Getting StartedUpdated

The flow, end to end

  1. An organizer creates an experience

In ReadySet Studio, the organizer chooses a format, sets the locations, and picks the challenges, puzzles, and photo tasks that fit the event.

  2. Participants download the app

Anyone joining the experience installs the ReadySet app on their phone. No sign-up, no account.

  3. Participants join using a code

The organizer shares an event code. Participants enter it in the ReadySet app to drop straight into the experience.

  4. Teams explore and complete activities

Teams move through the map, arrive at checkpoints, and complete the activities there in whatever order suits their strategy.

  5. Gameplay updates live

Scores, photos, and progress sync in real time. The leaderboard reflects what's happening on the ground.

  6. Organizers monitor the experience

From ReadySet Studio, the organizer can see team progress, scores, and submissions while the event is running.

The pieces that make it work

  • Activities — the challenges teams complete at each checkpoint (puzzles, photos, trivia, and more).
  • Checkpoints — the gameplay locations where activities take place.
  • Points — earned for completing activities; configurable per activity.
  • Leaderboards — live standings, visible to participants and organizers.
  • Teams — players are grouped on join; team identity drives competition.
  • Maps — the routes and checkpoints that anchor the experience to real space.
  • Progression — the route teams move through, linear or open-world.
